Happy New Year!!

We hookers have been a busy bunch! We ended our year with a pot luck luncheon and yankee swap. The swap was calm...although I think Lynn is still mad at me for "stealing" her scarf, woven by the talented Theresa H.  That scarf has kept me warm during this polar vortex! There was great food, laughs and excellent gifts.

2014 started with a great proddy workshop led by member MaryJane Peabody. We learned the proper technique for hemming and preparing our backing.

We spent the day cutting and poking our wool into our backing to make the fluffiest rugs ever! There were piles of colorful wool to chose from...we all found our favorites.
